Staffed by board certified nurse practitioners, the Nucleus Clinic provides comprehensive wellness, reproductive, and sexual health services for our community.
We offer supportive, confidential, affordable, and inclusive care to our community. Our staff includes certified nurse practitioners who provide nonjudgmental, evidence-based reproductive healthcare.
Birth Control
• Family planning prescriptions, procedures and education • Nexplanon implant • IUDs (Paragard, Liletta/ Mirena) • Birth control pills • Birth control patches • Birth control rings (NuvaRing, Annovera) • Depo Provera injection (“the shot”) • Emergency contraception (Plan B pill, Ella) • Phexxi (vaginal gel) • Condoms • Natural family planning
Annual Exams and Cancer Screenings
• Cervical cancer screening (PAP smears and HPV screening) • Annual exams (female patients only) • Clinical breast/chest exams • Mammogram referrals
STI Testing and Treatment
• Sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing • Treatment for selected STIs • Chlamydia, gonorrhea and trichomoniasis testing and treatment • Syphilis testing (rapid on-site and send-out) • HIV testing (rapid on-site and send-out) • Testing for herpes with symptoms (sores/lesions) • Hepatitis B and hepatitis C testing • Mycoplasma genitalium testing • Genital wart treatment • Molluscum contagiosum treatment
Pregnancy Testing
• Urine pregnancy testing • Family planning counseling • Community referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
Genital and Urinary Symptom Testing and Treatment
• Urinary infection testing and treatment • Vaginal infection testing and treatment • Genital sores, lumps, bumps, etc. testing and treatment • Pelvic and/or genital exams for patients with symptoms
Reproductive and Sexual Health Counseling and Education
• Post-sexual assault counseling and care • Family planning and reproductive health education • Sexually transmitted infection (STI) education • Preconception health counseling • Dietary and nutrition counseling • Smoking cessation counseling

The Nucleus Clinic is a non-profit clinic that provides confidential, respectful, affordable and culturally appropriate reproductive healthcare services and education.
We're funded through federal and state grants, patient fees and the generosity of donors. Patients are never turned away due to the inability to pay.
